Unigen's global manufacturing network provides OEM customers with the flexibility to choose the optimal services required, they can be provided out of Fremont, Vietnam, Taiwan, China or Malaysia. We are looking for leaders in our Vietnam facilities near Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Hanoi.
Expatriate position for our Vietnam facilities
Co-lead the effort to set up a new PCBA and box build factory near Hanoi
Plans, directs, and controls all manufacturing operation activities to ensure maximum effectiveness is obtained for the production of quality products within specified time and budgetary guidelines
Responsible for the planning of manufacturing capacity, optimization of manufacturing and test processes, production and materials control, warehousing and site facilities, maintenance, logistics and other manufacturing support activities
Co-lead the team to enable ISO 9001 and 14001 certification
Work with Unigen Headquarter to ensure that manufacturing capabilities, cost, quality, material control and manufacturing test meet or exceed all requirements
Ongoing monitoring of KPIs (e.g. on-time-delivery, productivity, fails, scrap) and initiating of countermeasures in case of deviation from targets
Support the control of the manufacturing life cycle of the product, from customer sales order to product delivery
Provide the leadership in continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
Co-lead the development and implementation of policies, plans, and practices per HQ requirements
Experience and Skill Requirements:
10+ years of experience in global EMS manufacturing leadership position in manufacturing operations is required
Extensive experience in building and delivering multiple complex system level products
Experience with SMT and PTH assembly and box build process and test is essential
Experience in setting up a new SMT assembly factory is a plus
5+ years of experience with Quality systems and management in EMS industry
Ability to lead and mentor staff to achieve significant results
Ability to exhibit characteristics of a leader who is determined, results oriented, persuasive, and a strong communicator
Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Vietnamese is preferred

Strong understanding of how to design products using NAND Flash memory
