Unigen offers PowerGEM® cables separately for those modules that do not include them or should a different cable length be required. The 6-pin cable provides the connection between the NVDIMM-N and PowerGEM delivering power and enabling communication for safe, reliable operation. Multiple standard lengths are available to offer the best fit for routing and placement.

- 6-Pin Cable: Provides power and communication between PowerGEM and NVDIMM-N. During system boot, the cable provides the necessary voltage and current to charge the supercapacitors, while I2C and other status pins provide real-time health monitoring for safe and reliable operation. During a power-loss event, the cable delivers the necessary power from the PowerGEM to the NVDIMM-N to facilitate a data backup.
