- Unlimited Write Endurance: During normal operation, the host communicates directly to the DDR4 DRAM, providing the near infinite endurance that DRAM affords. There are no wear-out concerns for KOMODO. Applications can target writes to the NVDIMM, only flushing to SSD or spinning disk when the cache is full. This in-turn limits the amount of writes out to the array, improving reliability and power efficiency of the entire system.
- Realtime In-System Health Monitoring: KOMODO implements multiple status health-checks during normal operation. If an issue or error condition is detected, the NVDIMM will immediately notify the host, allowing action to be taken to ensure no loss of user data.
