This strategic development bolsters Unigen’s Vietnam factory footprint in anticipation of significant growth with new and existing customers. The expanded facility is expected to be fully operational by April 2027.
Advanced Manufacturing and Scalability
The expansion is engineered to increase the facility’s maximum output by approximately 70%. To support this surge, Unigen will initially install four additional state-of-the-art SMT lines, with the infrastructure designed to scale by an additional eight SMT lines as market demand accelerates. The new floor plan also provides a dedicated space for complex Box Build assemblies, offering customers a seamless, end-to-end integration solution from component assembly to finished system.
The expansion will be equipped with a suite of the latest manufacturing technologies including SMT Lines, conformal coating for ruggedized and high-reliability applications, state-of-the-art X-ray inspection, and sophisticated testing processes.
